This is dreadful Melly - have you been put on antibiotics? As you say, the infection could spread.

Hi Melly, sent you text re this too. Cantbelieve they can leave it so long without getting the right treatment!!! Is there no chance of getting a cancellation either? Maybe you need different antibiotics too, sometimes you get immune to them. Take care, thinking of you, glad you back online too! x x

oh lol nope no cancellations, yes i usally need at least 2 sometiems 3 lots different anti bioctics before it heals up.
painful.
but that what they should be doing aprently they inject you with anti bioctics more direct into abcess area than pills grr.

Hi Melly

Sorry to hear that you are still having problems with your mouth; seems like forever since you first mentioned it!

You need treatment before 10 May for goodness sake. What I would do is make an emergency appointment with your GP tomorrow. Explain what has happened with lack of dental care and the problems that are now arising as a result. He may be able to either 1.prescribe a strong antibiotic himself for the abscess and sinus problem or 2. contact Kings himself and explain your position. If that infection spreads any further you could end up in deep trouble (don't want to scare you though!) with a lot of extra problems. Failing that contact PALS (patient liaison service) at Kings and explain. You definitely need to be seen as a matter of urgency, like in the next few days.

Don't let them fob you off you have already had to wait far longer than is reasonable. Hope you get a positive response quickly.

Hi Melly - Hope you are ok. I think Lyn has suggested the best course of action. You need some attention now. Take care.

Hi Melly

The dentist should have given you a strong single dose anti biotic, It works like magic to relieve the pain. I was given it a few years ago and then referred to the dental hospital for treatment. I was seen quickly and you should be too. An abscess is a dreadful situation to be left in, the pain is horrendous. My heart goes out to you, hope you get seen soon.
